First time for me. LHBS was out of 8oz bag of Saaz.

Brew done. Check. 2 toilets repaired. Check. This HB Blueberry/Ginger Kombucha may or may not contain 2 shots of vodka.

Yardwork. Time to put the electric chainsaw down. Amazing how the evasive plants thrive in a brutal summer.

Treehouse aperitivo. Not too bad. I was expecting some kind of sweet lime sour ball but it has a strong bitters characteristics.

While at it pop the Big Pickle. Meh. Cross between a cucumber and dill. Not that great straight I bet putting a sprig of dill on it would make it a lot better. The dill aroma is a little dull now. I'm sure it's good in some mixed drinks but their Piercys gin IMHO is better

And why not. Hoping it would turn blue but it's brown. A Negroni. The off dill smell ain't that right. Oddly the finish of dill is good

@ThirstyPawsHB Plumber showed upon time. Check. Installed 2 new toilets (the old ones were old). Check. And a new faucet for my outdoor sink where I do all my cleaning, I mean brewing, you know what I mean. Check. Payed the guy. Check.

24 hours ago it was 101° here as well as the 2 days before, now it’s 49° cooler… that’s a little hard to adjust to in one day. I’ll have a @Section1 HB stout to help. This is nice and roasty.

This is a good beer and it is one of Green Man’s flagships but it is certainly not very English. I don’t even know for sure if it’s supposed to be, but the name does sort of suggest it.
