Prepping for Silvaticus' Oktoberfest this weekend. I think this is my last one and it's from 2019. It's really gotten better than last year. Sadly they're not doing this one anymore.

HB Double Hazy. 9% with Amarillo, Sabro and Simcoe fermented hot with 644. Not perfect (a bit over-attenuated) but damn good.
I’ve found I like it more than NA beer. And no calories. Only bad thing is it’s kind of expensive for what it is. I like Hoplark the most, but it’s $40-45 for a 12 pack of pint cans. Sierra Nevada has a little better price, but I keep looking at recipes to brew a batch myself whenever I buy some.

Had one of these earlier. Had kind of a tannin feel/taste. Maybe the pecans weren't well cleaned!

Carb check sample of the Irish Red I kegged yesterday. This batch looks more Amber than red. Maybe after it conditions longer. Tastes good, though.

Big Cone, a Cascadian Dark Ale from a local brewery Figueroa Mountain Brewing. I have no idea how long this one’s been sitting in my fridge, at least two or three years or more.

Bell's Oktoberfest. Also decent, but too hoppy for style. Hmm...after further reflection, it just tastes like a slightly maltier Pale Ale. I dub thee "Fail Ale".

They're our redneck cousins to the west and in our division. The only other teams closer to us would be a Ny team and we can't root for that! Honestly we have a love hate relationship with the insanity. They're a good team.Not that I'm a Bills fan but as a 49ers fan, despise the Rams. Better??

For the record the Bills are the only NY team, the Giants and Jets are Jersey teams. It’s true.They're our redneck cousins to the west and in our division. Anyhow, I’m a Pats fan in Bills country. My wife and kids dread me wearing my Pats gear this time of year. I always get comments even from old ladies around here. Haha
Back on subject. A nice Common Ale from @Section1 & some fruit juice to finish out the game.
