Walked into my beer room and could smell a sweet odor. Upon looking around there was black syrupy liquid and pieces of bottle glass everywhere...
my first (and hopefully last) bottle bomb.:smh:

This was the last bottle of coffee stout brewed 1.5 years ago:inbottle:

I just started Kegging and moved my bottles next to a heater so maybe the extra heat started something up again?
Maybe a slow moving bacteria/infection?

I doubt it. I'm thinking thermal stress. Glass by heaters isn't a good combo.

It was one of about 8 bottles in the same spot. The other beers were different types though. The heater wasn't blowing directly on them but the temp was warmer then the beer had previously been kept at.
