Well……both of my first two batches (Big River Brown Ale & Ferocious IPA) are now just relaxin in their secondary at a breezy fo’ sheezy 66 degrees.

After all of the activity taking place over the last few weeks, I have an itch. I’m sort of fighting the urge to do ……….something, anything. Maybe just poke the carboy with a stick or something.:pipe:

Hmm well you have a brown, and an IPA.. maybe it's time for a wheat beer or maybe something really big, barleywine?

I know the feeling. Sometimes when I smell all the hoppy goodness coming out of a fermenting IPA I have to fight the urge to jam a crazy straw in the carboy and go to town.

I know exactly how your feeling! What I did was brewed some more to ease the wait. I started with a Caribou Slobber. Since then (12/17/13), I've completed a Brickwarmer Ale, an Emma's brown Ale, Smile Rye IPA, and a Cream Ale. It helps if you can brew one or so a weekend and before you know it...its sample/drinking time! My Caribou will be finished carbonating by 1/27/14 and ready for the Super Bowl! The other thing I've been using to ease the hurt is buying beers I never had before to get a good idea of what I want to brew next. I have Tallgrass Velvet Rooster, Spiced Winter Ale, and a Zoomin Pale Ale coming via UPS on Friday from Northern Brewer to pass dome future time! Welcome to the obsession!!! :D

2 beers in the secondary fermentors means two empty primary fermentors... Just sayin :mug:

That thought makes me want to brew some more. I have beers fermenting in two primaries now.......
but I have 4 empty fermenters that are calling to me. What to do, what to do?:cross:

I know the feeling. Despite the expected 35 degree high on Sunday Ill be outside firing up a new batch...need to keep those fermenters full!

Just bought two more fermenters and 3 recipes worth of ingredients. :ban:

When in doubt, brew.

All right you inspiring SOBs......I'm ordering ingredients tonight. Just bottled the brown ale and have too much empty equipment hanging around.
