My hop plant is on the third year. There are two shoots. The end of one shoot broke off, which was the strong growing shoot. Now the second one has started to grow faster now, and also looks healthier.

Should I just cut the broken shoot, that seems to not be growing anymore?

How tall did the shoot get before the tip broke off? I would let it stay because it should grow side branches which is where the hop cones are grown.

I had two shoots break off and the plants sent up another growth tip from where it broke. While my plants are all first year, I'd assume yours will do the same.
