True dual tower installation

Hello. I just bought a used TDD1 that someone had modified by adding a dual tower. I disassembled the tower for cleaning and am having a tough time putting it back together. I was wondering if anyone had any hints for fitting the nut on the inside of the tower to the faucet? Thanks.

We use a modified 1" boxed end wrench with about 1/4 cut out from across the front. The opening in the end lets us reach past the hoses that are inside the tower.
