Total Newb from the Philly Burbs

I am brand new to this forum and brand new to brewing (other than some barely consumable bilge wine back in the Navy) and I'm am eager to learn all I can. I will be starting with Mead, then after a time, will step on to Beer.

Welcome! There are a number of Homebrew clubs in the Philly area that can help you with this awesome hobby. In fact, my home club, Philly Homebrew Club is having its monthly meeting this Friday night if you want to venture into the city. PM me if you would like to attend this Friday and your exact location and I can tell you which Homebrew clubs are in your area and can probably facilitate an introduction with a club if you would like.
