I have an underground garage, where landlord allows us to store stuff. I want to find out how low/high temps get there.
Anyone can recommend a cellar thermometer (or whatever they are called) that does not cost a fortune?
I've seen one at a local store, but it was bit $$$ for my wallet.

I have an accurite digital thermometer in my basement. It records the max high and low, until it is reset. I used a fermentation fridge in the summer, but now the basement is right at 64-68 degrees so perfect for fermentation temp. It was about $10 or so at Wal-mart

I also have an excellent digital thermometer that shows the current temp, and also the min and max temps over a 24 hour period. Whatever you do, you will want to see the range of temps.
