Keep shaking your keg. You will hear the gas transferring as you shake it. I shake it everytime I pass it for about 2 days at 30psi. Then tap it on the third day and set it at serving pressure and its ready to flow.

Shaking it every time I pass by. Scared the wife the first time when the CO2 tank made noise. :D I think I can tap this bad boy on Sunday. Ready to roll. :mug:

Will see how cloudy it might turn out. Hopefully not too cloudy. I'm watching for leaks for sure. I have a soapy water solution that I sprayed on everything and I didn't get any bubbles. Time will tell. :mug:

Whats the ratio you use, soap to water? I spray starsan, but not certain it is the best for that job.

I have a Sodastream hooked up to a 20 pound tank because I love soda. Here on hbt there are brilliant soda recipes and i have been debating carbing 5 gallons of energy drink to have on tap.

Hey Aaron. Mix water with soapy solution, make bubbles, spray on equipment. No specific mixture. Just soapy water.

I've been thinking about making a soda water mini-keg to keep in the upstairs fridge. Then trying out syrups and my own recipes on the kids to see if we can find a winner.

Tis the season for ham and deliveries. The ham sounds like way more fun though. Are you going to smoke it also? Then it will be triple smoked. Do you get a good workout in then delivering the packages?

Never thought of a triple smoked ham but I'd imagine it would be better than double smoked. If I had an electric smoker I'd give it a shot but I only have a charcoal smoker and I'm not going to mess with that this time of year. But I will definitely keep that in mind!
