There is no maths behind the salt it's just for flavour like I would put on my fish and chips. I do it often, I know it's there so I recognise it but others tasting just know it as something familiar untill I say something.Looking forward to a picture
Almost 12 grams of salt in 5~6 gallons seems like a lot when I'm using a max of 4 grams in 11 gallons. Was that an empirically derived amount (ie: you've brewed this before to your satisfaction?)

In the past I used some floral hops and was hoping the yeast would give me all the dryness I would need but it wasn't quite there, this time I switched out the triskel with Amarillo and with the brute force of the Lupo Max I think it has done the trick.
