On tap at brewery? Been out of the country the last 2 weeks and curious to try.Zilker Third Space is fantastic. One time only release though. If they brewed it regularly it would probably be my 2nd favorite Austin IPA behind Electric Jellyfish.
A couple of years back (whenever Jester King released Whiskey Rodeo) at Petrol Station they had a food truck that incorporated different JK beers in their whole menu. Was at Austin Beerworks last night... it seems they got their own food truck. We had the pretzels and beer cheese (made with Peacemaker), house made hop pickles, and house made chips (with hop salt). Everything seemed to include one of their beers in the ingredients.
I approve.
From the website they have two saisons on tap, but there is no mention of their Saison as we knew it. I guess they are going the brewpub in house beers only route. Good on them.I think they are trying to establish a new set of core beers from their Facebook posts and they don't want the saison to be one of them.

Plus it’s like 2 blocks from Batch Kolaches.Their not really going to have a "core" set of beers, every time something kicks they replace it with a new beer. The brewer likes Saisons and IPAs so that's what most of their beers are going to be, but they have already made a stout. I've enjoyed everything that they have made so far and their prices are pretty good. Their space is pretty nice and the cheap tasty pizzas make it easy to hang out for awhile. I'm pretty sure they plan on bottling/canning in the future, but they're still pretty young for a mixed culture brewery.
Keep in mind they don't open till 4pm.We are headed to Austin in a few hours. Beers anyone?
We are headed to JK Friday afternoon as well. Hopefully there isn't some big release to deal with. I just want to drink there and maybe hang with some baby goats.
Thanks again for the recs everyone! My diet this trip has been meat and fried things and I may die. Worth it.
Bottled? If you have not had 903 BA Birthday Sasquatch and have a chocolate/fudge bomb shaped hole in your life, then you need to track some down.
I had 3 of the BA Sasquatch treatments, the others were good, BA Birthday was nuts.
Did you meet anyone? We are headed to Austin in a few hours. Beers anyone?

Bummer. I have some headed my way.The Saint Arnold Collaboration beer is not that good.
A touch of astringency and just weird flavors that I blame on Brash since they suck.Bummer. I have some headed my way.
What’s it missing?
Never had their hops. I’ve enjoyed their stouts and one of the two mixed ferm beers I’ve had from them.A touch of astringency and just weird flavors that I blame on Brash since they suck.

Hmm disagree. Needs softer mouthfeel and slightly less bitterness to really hit the NE-IPA thing but with a touch of bitterness I actually found it more drinkable and had no issue taking down two on a weeknight. Nothing to go super crazy about but Im very happy and went back to buy a case for the beach next weekend. The Saint Arnold Collaboration beer is not that good.
Like most beers it gets better the more you drink but I’m sensitive to astringency and this beer really has it. Think Endeavour as soon as they started canning it.Hmm disagree. I agree about the Brash sucking thing though. Tired of their ****, its all.... ok but nothing really great and their attitude overall just gives me no reason to give them business.
