I grabbed a bottle or two yesterday. wondering if the changes at Logdson recently will have had any affect on how it came out this year

I can help analyze multiple bottles to determine if I see any changes or not....

I had a 2014 maybe 3 months ago and thought... too much peach. I'm probably in the minority though. I have a 2015 that I intend to hold onto for a while.
didn't think it was possible for there to be too much fruit then I had a CD15 and that definitely has too much mango for my tastes...

I thought CD15 was great and definitely didn't overwhelm the Wine BA saison base to my taste... different strokes?

I finally opened a FW Opal I've been aging for science last night. Bottled March of 2014. Sorry I didn't snap a pic.
I love it fresh but I did not care for the aged one at all. Beautiful when poured, but it tasted like a muddled, old hop mess.
Anyone ever have any success with aging these?

I have really enjoyed previous batches, both fresh and with a little age on them (up to about a year).

2015 b2 (the one I assume you got) I had on draft at de Garde and it smelled a bit less peachy than 2015 b1 but tasted great! A bit more funk out of the gate than I recall. Logsdon is... Weird. I totally get when people say they don't enjoy their beer. Personally, I love em!

I think I enjoy this more than those I drank earlier this year. I could agree with more funk, less fruit.

The batch early this year wasn't my favourite. I want a bunch more of this batch.

Pretty good taste but maybe a bit more body than I'd prefer? Not one of their better releases since I've been a Philly guy.

This was rather fantastic.

Really nice piney, sappy nose with hints of pepper a definite presence of the spruce. Floral and a touch of sweetness in the flavor that finishes with the piney spruce again. Mouthfeel is medium with medium to medium high carbonation. Bit of grain and almost a honey sweetness as it warms.

Shhh...I think you meant that Propolis is a terrible and gimmicky brewery that nobody should consider looking into.

Yes yes... This. No one needs to buy into that crap.

I'm only E-mailing them about maybe placing another order to spare anyone else having to drink this crap. And they definitely don't ship their beer straight from the brewery all over the country, you can definitely only get it by driving in person to the brewery.

I had an amber saison from them, and looking at the ingredients/flavor profile on their nifty wheel, wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Absolutely loved it. I should seek some more out :)
