i heard LI wasn't getting backyard at all. word is BCBS is half of last year (which means you can bathe in it still)...coffee supposed to be hard to come by and no word on the barleywine.

Not that I have been following the case numbers in NYC, LI but have no fear Evan, I'm sure one will be able to score one or more of each variant soon. You gotta believe!

Someone say bottle share? ;) Speaking of the Top Hops event, unfortunately I have to work but do you think bcs draft lines will still be flowing after 4pm? Cheers.

I think they are almost out of coffee - or at least Ted was counting heads when I was still there. BW, there was one case on the floor but not sure about anymore. BCBS, there were a good amount of cases left.

I'll probably head back this afternoon to hit up the awesome tap lineup. Good to see some familiar faces this cold am. And the ironic USPS guy who was first in line.

I might drop by for something on tap later, but yeah not expecting any bottles to be there at 5 or whenever I'd get there. Any word on if WF has anything today?

Just saw the line at Top Hops on their twitter feed from this morning. Absurd

It was absurd but not too bad. Ted and the GI crew handled it pretty well. I got there at 8:40 and was in the back ( i was the cutoff for the BC glass ) but the line went smoothly and was out of there by 9:40.

Even though I was detained at work and ended up being 7 hours late for the fireworks at TH I was still able to taste awesome GI release atmosphere when I got there as well as BW on tap. Big thanks to the entire Top Hops crew for another perfectly handled event. Never disappointed when I go there and usually simply happy to chit chat with familiar faces over a glass of a world class beer.

I've heard whenever Union delivers, but likely this week. Certain Union distro areas are super unreliable.
Do you think that means more BCBS, Coffee, and/or Barleywine? I skipped Top Hops but really would like to get some, especially a Barleywine or two for a PNW trade partner.

From what I've heard, top hops had the stuff earlier than all other accounts for their black Friday event. Others should be seeing those this week (again, second hand).

Just got a coffee and barleywine (1 of each) at Astoria Bier & Cheese. Love that place and I really wish it was there when I lived in Astoria. They had a case of each as far as I could tell, 1 per on each. Had about 5-6 cases of regular with seemingly no limit. FYI, anyone not familiar with the N/Q, the queens bound N/Q doesnt stop at Broadway so you have to take it to Astoria Blvd. and then go backwards to Broadway (or walk a mile).

And for anyone that wants to take the long hike to Inwood, they have coffee/barleywine at Flair Bev. Traveler beware. I called last night and was told they had plenty. Made it up there twenty minutes later and they said they could sell me a four pack of coffee and that was it.
