Zwanze Day locations were announced, Spuyten and Alewife for NYC this year.
i wonder what led it back to being at Alewife?
I was kinda hoping Mikkeller NYC was gonna get it over FG or AW. spuyten is locked in forever

I'll see you bright and early at Alewife?

My guess is Patrick wanting to get some more Alewife awareness now that they're a brewery as well. Expecting a few Alewife beers on the taplist.
i would like to get out of nyc
ooooooh right. forgot about that brewery thing. would be funny if it's 5 loons and the rest Alewife brewing beers. though i don't think they have nearly enough beers.
i did (late) zwanze in 2014, i think, at alewife.
it was really pleasant. probably won't be as chill as that but it's a much better space than FG.
ideally, i would like to get out of nyc for zwanze this year but in all likelihood, i'll just degenerate it up with the rest of the usual degenerates at spuyten.
See you in NOLA?
Staying at the JFK Marriott on Sunday night. Are there restaurants near by that have solid tap lists that are also kid friendly (ages 11 &14) .
Yeah, there was nothing. Ate in the hotel and had some Lagunitas IPAs.I don’t think there’s much of anything in that area, let alone a good taplist. You’ll probably need to head west to Brooklyn.
Shameless promotion time:
On October 14th my homebrew club (The New York City Homebrewer's Guild) will be throwing a 30th anniversary party at The Well in Brooklyn. Many New York brewers from the old guard (Garrett Oliver) to the new kids (KCBC and Fifth Hammer) came up through the Guild in their homebrew days, so in addition to many homebrewers, including myself, pouring beers and other beverages, we'll be tapping guest kegs from alumni who have gone pro. Tickets are $30 and include glassware (sorry Nathan, don't think it's going to be a teku)

But what about ticking with tekus?I think Nathan is more concerned if he can legitimately tick all the homebrew on untappd.
to sum it up:
ticking > tekus
Given that Alewife has more space, more taps (including probably some non-sours to break things up), and a full food list, it's very likely where I end up.

Nope, I tallked to one of the beer/cheese workers and he told me they dropped Tilquin from their beer profile. I picked up the last two at Clinton Gourmet today for $15.99. Looks like Bread and Honey has some for $17.99.WF Chelsea?
Provide me with these addresses and I can help correctTilquin gueuez sits on lots of shelves in Brooklyn often, thankfully. Maybe I'll stop by Threes and pick up some Mure though. Perhaps.

I deactivated most of my beermenus notifications because I know longer need to know that every place in the city has Mexican cake.
