The weather just turned warm here in North Carolina, and reminded me once again that my favorite seasonal beer styles will be mostly unobtainable until about Halloween.

Whaddya mean you don't have a Russian Imperial Stout in stock because it's June? What does THAT have to do with it...?!?

Oh well. Maybe I should stock up now on all my favorite big beers.

What? A season for certain beers? That's blasphemy. I like my dark beer in the summer just as well as I do in the winter. Who came up with the idea of "seasonals"?

I'm kind of a seasonal brewer but Subdivisions is right on! Make what you like when you like. And it's hard to cellar the good stuff but it's oh so nice to crack one open when you really want it.
