Temperature fluctuation with yeast while stored

I am going to pitch two vials of white labs cal ale yeast to my beer in a few hours. With one of the vials I accidentally left it out for a day or two before realizing it was there. I put it back in the fridge without thinking. So, the temp with this vial went from cold to room temp to cold again. Will that give me funky flavors?

And I noticed this vial is a darker tan color than the color of the yeast that stayed in my fridge at a stable temp.
 
It would have been better to just make a starter with it since it had been sitting out but remember that for next time . I wouldn't expect you to get of flavors, as far as I know, that comes from fermentation and your yeast would be dormant in a vial. But I still think you'll be fine.
 
I plan on doing starters usually but I did not have any dme on hand. But does anyone have an idea why the colors of the two vials would be different? Both the same yeast
