I bought a Johnson Temp controller awhile back for lagering.

Unfortunately we had some water damage in the basement and the ServePro (cleaning) guys cut the copper line for some reason. (still trying to figure it out) Anyone have any suggestions on saving it? I have the probe as well as the unit, just not connected together. And of course, they cut it short on the unit end.

And if I have to buy a new one, what should I get and will it work with a mini fridge? I had a freezer, but that didn't make it. Thanks.

Anyone have any thoughts on this yet?

not sure if that can be fixed, but i'd be calling servepro and telling them where to send a check to buy a brand new one.

I have the same unit on my kegerator and it works fine, lasts a long time.

You could try to solder the sensor wire. Not sure if it's solid core or something else. It's worth trying to save I would think.
