Hi, quick question that's probably easy to answer - when I dial my regulator to a given pressure it's sometimes hard to push the dial back in, does it hurt to leave it out/extended? Sometimes I need to turn it a bit before it will click back in. If I leave it out I won't vent gas or anything, correct? Thanks!

That's just a locking mechanism intended to prevent inadvertent contact from changing the pressure setting.
Certainly no harm in leaving the knob(s) unlocked - I actually have never locked any of my Taprite knobs...

Cheers!

PERFECT thank you for the reply. Just got my first commercial keg tapped so it's in there with a kit in a keg now in prep for a party tomorrow. Woo keezer show off time :). Thanks.
