Super thick cake with Omega West Coast I

I'm two batches in using the Omega West Coast I the chico strain and the resulting yeast cakes are super thick. I have never seen anything like this using white labs or S-05. This is like the consistency of pudding, even a little thicker. Made a huge mess trying to harvest in a mason when it comes out in one mass even after swirling to loosen it up.

I was wondering if anyone else has had the same observation. No off flavor I can tell in the first batch.
