Making a black IPA which calls for 13lbs of 2-row as the base. My LHBS only has 3lbs, and won't get another shipment until after thanksgiving, but since I am off thanksgiving week (yeah job seniority!) I want to get a brew day in.

Should I substitute with marris otter or 6-row? I have never used 6-row before so I was leaning towards the marris otter, but it's more expensive.

MO, unless they have a Pilsner malt around. 6-row would also be fine. It has a little higher protein content and some people detect a grainier flavor, but that's rather subjective.
