things picked up a bit yesterday with 2 occurences. The first happened early, just as I got out of bed at about 5:10am. Here is my routine, I get up and go out into the hall, the laundry room is the first room on the right and that is where I feed the cat to shut her filthy-yapper up. I don't turn any lights on, there is enough light coming in from the windows from our neighbor's front porch spotlight across the street. Now, some more info. Like i said, the laundry room is the first room on the right and then the guest room is after that. On the left, are the stairs kitty-corner (sp?) to the laundry room and then the man room is just past the stairs. The 2nd upstairs bathroom is straight ahead if you're leaving the master bedroom. So, like every other day, I walk out into the hallway to feed that dirty cat but instead of seeing darkness, I see what looks to me like a pair of legs walking into the man room. I didn't see anything else, just legs and it was quick, like someone were trying to avoid me. I didn't hear anything like footsteps or someone moving but I looked into the man room and of course there's nothing there. I believe in an earlier post I had mentioned seeing legs outside my apartment back door on our patio as if someone were walking by but no one is ever there.
2nd story was yesterday evening, probably around 7:00pm. At this point, the wind was going nuts outside so I was hearing a lot of "wind noise" from the attic and vinyl siding. I was in the man room, Floyd was downstairs, not sure where that damn cat was at. Anyway, I heard some thumping around downstairs and as usual whenever someone comes in, Floyd gets up from his bed and I heard his collar and tags jingling. I go downtstairs to greet SWMBO but no one is there. Floyd is staring at the entryway and then gives me one of those puzzled looks that only dogs can do. Like I said, it was really windy but the noises I heard weren't wind noise, they were noises consistent with someone walking in and clunking around down there.
To be continued.... I think!
