Okay, let's get right to it.
Pot.
In the states where recreational use is legal, is it legal to homebrew with it as an ingredient. I know it's in the same family as hops.
Would you use it in the boil as a late addition, maybe dry... weed it?
I'm not looking for THC extraction, just that wonderful aroma.

P.S: sorry if this is against some rules
EDIT: topic should read addition. Autocorrect strikes Asians
EDIT 2: Damn

Living in one of those states, it is legal to do what we want with it, provided it does not cross state lines. And the AHA has already banned it in competition. So if you want to, go for it. Since I don't find the aroma all that wonderful, I wouldn't use it at all. And I have no experience with THC extraction. If it's legal where you are, be sure to report back on your results!

Dry hop that shizzle dude. You're wasting your hard earned drug money but I'd think that is the best way to incorporate some doof into your brew.

Have to agree with the above post though-not the best aroma in the world.

The law is a little murky when it comes to adding weed to homebrew, I think that would count as adding it to food so you would need to check your local laws on that. No beer sold on the market, of course, could be sold with weed present in it.

As for adding it to your beer, if you do like the aroma dry hopping is the way to go. Generally, I think I'd go with a boil addition at the start if you were trying to extract the compounds.
