Anybody using these in there kegs? Just got mine in today. Any tips? Whats the best tool to fish it out with and whats the best way to sanitize. Thanks. I'm hopping this improves the freshness of my IPA's :tank:

I got mine this week, too. No answers, but the same questions, so I'm subscribing.

I have the same one and have used it a few times. For cleaning, PBW in a bucket or keg that you're already cleaning then Starsan in the same bucket. To fish it out of a keg, I use unflavored dental floss strung through the loop on the top, of course you need to attach this before you drop it into the keg. The keg gasket forms around it so it still seals tight even with the dental floss hanging out over the edge.

Use a wire ....

Would the wire seal around a keg lid? and if I were to fish it out it seems like the wire that would be thin enough to fit in the hole to lift it out would bend under the weight as the hole is pretty small. But thank you for your great input...

I was wondering if the dental floss would be strong enough and it sounds like it will I will go that direction then. Thanks for putting in helpful information.

dental floss is plenty strong enough. I have two of these and have been using regular sewing thread. I weigh down the dry hoppers and it makes me nervous but the threads haven't broken... yet.
