To my target. I tried the Jester King Noble King again this weekend for the first time since they started putting souring bacteria in every beer. In the past this was a hoppy beer that could be called Farmhouse but I thought more of as an English pale ale. It is now nice and sour and so crushable. I will be buying it by the case going forward, and there will be one in your box!

I didn't know they were putting souring bacteria in all their beer now! I've had a few if their non-sour farmhouse beers and didn't really like the farmhouse yeast on its own. I'm excited to revisit some of those beers again with the bacteria.

Awesome box to pop the cherry on this swap! Thanks man, I haven't tried any of them so you nailed it

Glad it all made it safe! Forgot that I put the Ale Syndicate in there. That's a good IPA too. They were named Illinois New Brewery of the Year this year by Ratebeer. Really excited to see what else comes out from them in the future. Can't believe based on your Untappd that I completely avoided a double :rockin:

I know JK has some distribution there but let me know if you want me to throw a Noble King in your box I am sending you.

Hopefully someone will enjoy this ^^. Even though I just now am realizing it's supposed to be sort of secretive and I ruined the secret >.>

I think I know(at least the brewery), and if I'm right then your recipient should be a very happy person

I'm sure you are recognizing correctly. And I thought so too. I know its only 4 bottles... but they are champagne bottles so there's a healthy dose of deliciousness in each.

When I asked which sour varieties were prefered "I like all kinds of sours, but my favorites have been barrel aged with cherries like Sang Noir."

My immediate reaction was "Oh is that so, because I know a brewery that justtt released a sour refermented with cherries... my tradee will need to try it and may the best beer win!"

This comment makes me sad because it makes me realize that it isn't coming to me :(

I share the sentiments, however, I am looking forward to tasting whatever comes my direction.

My Atlanta connection made a surprise delivery today. Only one domestic sour however, plus 5 imports, all of which I've never tried, and have never even seen before. He also brought a pumpking and an allagash black plus some IPAs from the Marietta brewery, red hare I think its called. He said that he has a line on some new releases in the next couple of weeks, so I should be ready for sour swap three! I'm holding out for two specific beers for my last two vacancies in my own box, but if I am coming up short, I might have a northeast brewed sour in my package.

Well, I think I have made the final selection for what I'm sending. Now I just have to wait for some return trades so I have enough packing material. I sent out a bunch of boxes but will be seeing some action on my porch soon!

Alright guys, I've got 2 tracking numbers so far. We're getting down to the wire, make sure you ship 'em out by the end of the Month and send me your tracking numbers!

Just got back from my hometown, where I scored some killer sour junk. Hope my recipient can't get these. Not many sours made in Ohio. I haven't been able to snag a special release sour from Jackie O's, even for myself since I've lived here. Stupid Saturday morning shifts. Maybe next round though. Very happy with what is being sent though as should the recipient hopefully. Sending when I can grab a spare second in the next couple days.

Just picked up a growler of a local draft-only sour.

Almost ready to ship...

That's killer dude. I wish they allowed growler fills of the sours at Jackie O's. I'd be hookin people up like crazy.
