And i don't like it. It was an oatmeal stout. I am not impressed. IMO it tastes watered down. Or could it be I just make by beers too malt heavy. Thoughts?

I can't remember the name but I can probably guess the recipe:
1# black patent or roasted barley
1# oats
1 3.3# can light LME
1oz UNKNOWN hops
also some unknown amount of malto-dextrose. maybe like .25-.5#

are you sure? if that was for a standard 5 gallon batch it would have a pitifully low OG. i would think that it would come with at least 2 cans of LME. maybe slow Steve was on the packing line that day.

how long did you let it sit in the primary? how long did you let it sit in the bottles?

Good save.

My first batch was a Northern Brewer kit for Breakfast Stout that I too felt was watery. I don't blame the kit though, it was my first batch after all.
