I haven't brewed in about a year, because of a move. Going to order the stuff to do a 3 Floyd's Gumball Head clone this weekend. So, hopefully next weekend I will be back brewing.

yummy, brewed a gumball head clone with half pound of chocolate wheat and it was insane. Killed 5 gallons in a week and a half.

i know a guy who needs a 10 gallon cooler. Dough in on my Oatmeal Stout. 13.25 lb grain bill leaves no room left for a mash out. I'll have to drain some wort out first. Oh well, hope it turns out well

I'm brewing a coconut porter in the style of Maui Brewing Co.'s. in the early AM.

Ingredients:
22.0 lb Maris Otter
1.0 lb Black Malt
1.0 lb Chocolate Malt
1.0 lb Caramel Pils
28 oz Toasted Coconut in mash
3.0 oz Goldings (5.0%) - added during boil, boiled 60 min
28 oz Toasted Coconut Added during boil at 10 min
1.0 oz Fuggle leaf (4.8%) - added during boil, boiled 1 min
2.0 ea Fermentis S-04 Safale S-04
28 oz Toasted Coconut (dry hop) - added dry to secondary fermenter

I brewed yesterday. Black Dog Ale is bubbling away happily. This was my first opportunity to brew outside this year(ever, actually). I think it went smooth and I can't wait to taste the Black Dog.:tank:

Brewing up a "fixed" batch of my stout that got 30pts at a competition a couple of weeks ago. Could have done better but I entered as a sweet stout but it tasted more like a dry stout.
30 is not too great but it was my own recipe I just made up so I think I did OK for a newb.

Not this weekend but Wednesday I am going to brew either an Oatmeal Stout, Winter Ale or a Pumpkin Ale from Midwest. I have all three setting in front of me waiting.

I might be doing a blueberry wheat this week. Depends on what is available at Davidson's in McM. If they don't have what I need, it bumps to post-HoV meeting next week, so I can hit Corvallis Brewing.

I just tried Shipyard's Blue Paw (Blueberry Wheat) this past Sunday and thought it was very good though I'm not that familiar with fruit beers. It was just regular pale gold color. Great summer brew.

I intend to try my first 10 gallon batch this weekend, just a medium-low gravity APA.

No brewing for a few days! Until the local brewpub is finished ferming their farmhouse ale and hefeweizen...

Bottling an AIPA, then racking an APA onto blackberries on Friday. Excited for both!

I would like to brew this weekend, but I have 6 full cornies, and 3 primaries full....

So I don't have any room for more! Guess I should start drinking more, or get more friends.
