Ahhhhhh, Springtime in Oklahoma. The land of hailstones and tornados.
We had a mild spring last year. Not likely again. I can only hope this season passes quickly.
We do need the rain tho'.
I'm visiting your neck of the woods right now. It's warmer than Wisconsin, which is awesome.
Moore is pretty darn close to where I am now. close enough that our hosts hunkered down in their shelter when the Moore tornado came through.
More snow coming for New England tomorrow night. Isn't that fun?

I'm a full 15 degrees north of the continental US and I've been outside doing yard work with a t-shirt for the past 2.5 weeks. We are literally on the same level as Alaska (60-70 north).
We bought a pressure washer and SWMBO did both of our cars plus our outdoor table and chairs. We've got bulbs coming up all over the yard. The apple trees will be in bloom soon.
But my mulberry trees aren't leaving yet.
Gulf Stream warm air.
I know an exchange student from Finland who was amazed to find out we usually get -20 Fahrenheit in the winter.
That's -28 celcius - not at all uncommon here, especially in the north and east. Not too common in Helsinki, though. This has been the warmest winter in over 50 years for Finland.
We normally get cold weather in February when the wind reverses and comes from siberia. Didn't happen this year, though. Probably cuz Putin has been blowing so much hot air recently.
Jyväskylä does get rather fresh in winter, colder than helsinki.
Savonlinna, where I live nowadays gets even colder, but not quite as cold as Lapland(above the pole circle.
In general, south-west finland is "warmer" and the more north or east you go, the colder it will get.
At least you have your saunas to keep you warm.
If I built a sauna, my friends would think I was turning into some kind of crazy Yooper!
A lot of Yoopers have either FInnish ancestry. They even have an art school there called Suomi College. Suomi means Finland.
