I'm taking my first crack at what I'd like to think of as an SN Porter Clone. I've got some washed 1098 British Ale and 1056 American Ale yeast in the fridge. Living in the middle of Nowhere, Arkansas, summertime shipping of liquid yeast can be questionable. Would either of these 2 strains I have on hand be the correct match for this beer, or should I just go with some US-05?

US-05 and WY 1056 are pretty much the same thing. There seems to be some debate over subtle differences, but either way, one of those is taken to be the strain Sierra Nevada uses. You can do a search and get tons of talk about that, but in short, go with the 1056 and you'll be as close as you can get.
