So.... I didnt have any dme yesterday so i took some two row (7oz) and made a tiny batch of beer for my starter but i only ended up with a little over 600ml of wort starter when i pitched into the starter (white lab cali yeast). I plan to brew in a couple hours and the slurry is looking good in the flask but the reading ive done says it may hurt the yeast more then help it!
recipe is
13.5# 2 row
.5# crystal 40
1# carapils
1# corn sugar
(5gallon batch)
also, should i dump the liquid off the slurry when i pitch?
