Wondering if anybody out there with experience on having business shut down before might be able to help give the rest of us small biz owners and operators some idea of how these things play out?

in talking with some fellow owners the only thing we’re able to think of is the business interruptions part of your insurance policy. Since most of these calls for shutdowns are technically voluntary we’re debating whether the insurers will pay out.

As for what’s to come? Yes, govt will claim to give out relief but generally that’s just extensions on due dates for payments/taxes/etc, or loans that put you in debt, etc. Very rare to get actual cash to pay rent, payrolls etc.

anybody out there have some experience with this?
