Hi everyone, I will be bringing some homebrew equipment on Saturday from Jason (masonjax) that he gave away before he left the area. See the picture attached. The grain mill is claimed, but everything else, if you need it, it’s yours.
We have a new club member that is looking to get a start set. I assume that's a cooler mash tun and a...5 gallon pot?

I'm interested in that scale.Hi everyone, I will be bringing some homebrew equipment on Saturday from Jason (masonjax) that he gave away before he left the area. See the picture attached. The grain mill is claimed, but everything else, if you need it, it’s yours.
I think the pot is about 10 gallons. It is aluminum and has a ss ball valve. The mash tun has a braid inside and a brass ball valve. This can be a good starter set for someone. The new member can have it all.
Just inform the new brewer about how (not) to treat an aluminum pot/kettle. Many people look at the gray oxide layer inside and start scrubbing it off until it's all shiny again. That's exactly the wrong thing to do, as we all know. The grayer, the better. That sounds like a great set. He'll be thrilled.
You're right!Am I correct there are only 6 splits this time?
