Are you linking to pictures on your hard drive instead of linking to pictures hosted somewhere else?

Try uploading to a free image hosting site like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and then linking from there.

I always put them on my blog and then link just the picture location. It never works when I try to upload a picture otherwise.

I totally agree that we need to retitle this thread "Show us how over-chicked you are" because I have seen like two decent looking guys, one dude looking like Ben Afleck and the rest just have good looking ladies close by. Works well for me though
