Should I do diacetyl rest for Wyeast 2007 - Pilsen Lager

On their website, it noticeably does NOT say a diacetyl rest is recommended, whereas it seems to say that for most of the other lagers.

I'm fermenting an American lager, OG 1.050 at 50F and wondering if should bother with diacetyl rest or not.

What was your pitch rate? The obvious answer is, taste it and see if it needs one before you do it.

True. As far as pitch rate, I don't know - was a "smack-pack" into 5 gallons. Pitched at 50F.

Then yes, you will probably want to do a D rest.
