I seem to have what I think is an envious situation with my yeast starters: I have very short lag times. For example, I just pitched 2 smack packs of month old Wy2035 into a 1.7L starter and fired it up it on the stir plate. Within an hour the thing was bubbling insanely hard. A few months ago I had the same thing happen with 6+ month old 2035.
Most of my reasonably fresh yeasts, both ales and lagers, do this. Is this normal in other's experiences?
