The eagle has landed. And what a bitching eagle eagle it is! Ale apothecary, Logsdon, Cascade, Deschutes, and a badass sounding Berliner. Thank you so,much, this was an awesome package! Way above and beyond.

Dang, that is quite a box of beer. Good job on that one.

I was very happy to see everything, I am very grateful for the box, and happy nothing froze! I will be opening one tomorrow with a friend and at least one at the bottle share I'm hosting next week. Thank you again!

Kenny, Cartman, Kyle and Stan should have someone to share beer with today. Hopefully nothing froze. Biggest thing that scares me about doing trades with low(er) alcohol beer in the winter.

Your welcome again! Be sure to report back and let us know what you think!

Lets hope you get another box fully in tact

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I was totally thinking of a different town. Here is a better hint.

Microsoft is located in your town name, but not your state. You have a package out for delivery.

I think blizzard and I are the only CO folks in this swap and since his package has already landed, this is me :ban:

If i'm wrong - :ban: will turn to :(

Wish I had found this sooner. Looks like I missed out.

Just starting to develop an addiction to the sour beers. Unfortunately not many available in my area:

Saint somewhere
funky Buddha
Cigar city reportedly has a couple funky beers.
Dogfish has couple as well, but I think they are widely distributed now.

Plus I can get the international rodenbach and duchess beers that probably everyone else can too.

Let me know if this list is ever revisited and I can go on a bottle quest. I would want in if there is a round two.

What about sour homebrews in the trade?

If you ever want to trade for a couple TX sours I'd love to get my hands on some Funky Buddha brews.

Funny thing is if I look at funky Buddha ( brewery is a good 4 . 5 hour drive) they supposedly distribute and sell locally - I could potentially even order through a couple liquor stores rather than drive. I don't see many sour beers other than some Berliner Weiss special/limited brews... Which ones were you looking for? I've never seen them for sale locally but I'm starting to ask around.

I've had a couple of the saint somewhere beers which I thought were tasty. Not overly puckering with Brett added after primary ferm I believe.

The cigar city is more a saison than a Brett or sour beer, and it too I've not seen locally.

Lol, what was wrong with the first hint? Also why do I seem to manage to always be the last delivery of the day? Anticipation is killing me!

So we have:
Prairie Funky Galaxy
Prairie America
NoDa Tart Attack
Trinity Saison Man
Crooked Stave Vieille
Crooked Stave Surrette
Crooked Stave L'Brett D'Or
Homebrew Labeled BP
Homebrew Labeled Brett C

Please tell me more about these home brews! So happy to see the crooked stave, I've never had any of Chads beers but have followed his work for some time. I can't wait to try them.

Glad they made it safely!! You gotta send some crooked stave if you're sending sour beers from Colorado. The trinity beer (saison man) is good too. Less hype, but still tasty.

The homebrews are:
Brett C: a lightweight 100% Brett c berliner weiss. Really clean except for some malt and tartness. Low abv, so pretty drinkable.

Face melt: I think this is a really sour beer. Lots of different bugs in there including from wyeast and (I think) Avery and jolly pumpkin. I think it is good in small doses, but I have gotten a lot of positive feedback on it.

BP: is a Baltic porter. It isn't sour, but it fit in the box. Chill this one really well. I think it is a little overcarbed. Enjoy!
