OMG I must go. A Chuck's Anniversary Galaxy IPA sounds excellent...hopefully in the same wheelhouse as Sticky Hands!
Except for that last batch. Still have a Saisony Hands in the fridge.

I wish the Block 15 beer would be sold at the Greenwood location as well. The trek to the CD location is definitely a chore. Ironically, my buddy from Corvallis is coming tomorrow and will probably have ample amounts of Sticky Hands in tow
Good to know. May have to go to 'Lowe's' tomorrow at 11 am to buy some 'wood'.There will be cans at the Greenwood shop. Not sure if it will be today or not, but they'll be there.

Surprised to see them available today. Canned 1/6 and from what I can tell no limits.
This beer is the real ******* deal, one of the best new IPAs I've had in a while. Glad I was able to fit 6 of them into my checked bag on the way back.
Was this something Block 15 did exclusively for Chuck's, or was that just the first wave of the release with more going out in their distribution footprint? They really should make this a regular rotation beer in their lineup, it's fantastic.
I'm hitting Holy Mountain and Cloudburst tomorrow. Any other newer breweries making great beer to check out? I've been to Seattle before so trying to hit great new places.
Holy MountainCan someone point me into the direction of which bars/breweries would be best to hit up in Seattle for some sour offerings?
Not sure if Holy Mountain would have any "sours" on tap, but they'd likely have some tart saisons.
That sounds good to me, but my wife is more into "Give me the most sour ******* thing you can create."
Several others have suggested Holy Mountain, so we'll definitely be making a stop at some point. Any suggestions on specific nights to go or avoid, or does that not matter?

And if you go to Holy Mtn, don't forget this:

(In all seriousness, the beer is worth battling the stench of unwashed self-righteousness and men wearing their GFs jeans)

Seconding the Masonry at any point this weekend. Gonna be some crazy beers pouring. We'll have some new stuff on at the end of the week and going into the weekend. We don't do 2.0 pH melt your face off sour beers. We do have some tart stuff on right now that is really nice and drinkable though. Fridays and Satrudays are our busiest nights, day time can be hit or miss. This Saturday is the Washington Beer Open House. We're not going to be giving tours, but expect to see some traffic during the day. Make sure to head up to The Masonry and check out their Farmhouse Fest. Going to be some awesome stuff on tap. Good luck!
Holy **** I hope you made it to the Masonry at some point this weekend. That sounds good to me, but my wife is more into "Give me the most sour ******* thing you can create."

Just got back and tried so many amazing beers.
I know midnight still is the hot ba beer of the week, but I just wanted to check in after having brew 1000 last night. It has to be one of the best barrel aged beers I have ever had. Phenomenal stuff with almost no hype behind it.
Alright, another "I'm going to be in Seattle area" request for recommendations.
We are driving in sometime in the evening just to crash. Not looking to go downtown unless its an easy in and out to the highway. Looking for help on a place Daddy the Driver can get a good beer that I can pick a hotel nearby, and thats within a mile or two of #5. In the morning we depart for Rainier.
edit: Pine Box then?
Any bottle shops nearby that have later hours?
edit2: holy **** these hotel prices..... ok, so maybe not Pine Box.
I guess my plan to be passing through on a Saturday in the summer may not be the best of ideas.
Whats down there beer/brewery/pub-wise?Dare I say Tacoma?
