Any one have experience dismantling an old San Francisco style keg? I got one for cheep, and want to see if I can use it as a cask for my beer engine. But I'm not to sure how to take it apart and clean it, or what kind of disconnect to look for to use with it.

Worst case I can use it as a long term secondary for sour beers.

Maybe I'm having a mix up in my memory, The golden gate is in San Francisco. Must be why my searches came up empty.

It is the shorter one in this picture. It has a wooden bung, a top valve, one at the bottom on the side and one 1/4way up on the side 90º from the one on the top.
