recipe critique?

Ok, be gentle on the newb!

first brew day Sunday and I'm planning a 1/2 batch:

2 gallon boil
3 lb dme light
.5 lb crystal 40 steep
.5 lb amer victory steep
1 oz simcoe 60 min
.5 oz fuggle 10 min
.5 oz cascade 1 min
Wyeast 1028 london ale
top up to 2.5 gallon

Will I make beer or make a mess?

Change your fuggle to 20 minutes and the cascade to 8 to get better flavor and aroma.

And if you do not, it will still be beer. I guarantee it.

One of my favorites, the AllBitterNoFlavorTonOMunich Ale, was shot down by the most respected members on this site. You know what, I handed out 4 six packs of that brew. All four recipients were willing to pay for the ingredients for half the batch.

I'm brewing half batches so I can tweak. Impatient, I'll try the hop utilization change you suggested and the original as well! Just good to hear I'm not totally out of the ballpark.
