Re-use plastic beer bottle caps

Can you re use the plastic beer bottle caps, the push on type? For the P.E.T. bottles. The women at the store didnt know (figures)

I would believe you could becaue once tightend, it seems to lock up very well. Just like re sealing a 2 litre pop bottle right?

Not sure what you mean by push on type?? Only plastic beer bottles I've seen are threaded.

You push them on initially, and they are threaded yes.

yep, just sanitize the caps and yer good to go. the plastic ring can stay on the bottle. I think thats just for storebought drinks as a safety measure so you can see it hasn't been opened yet.
