It is quite different...they named it Tang for a reason.Never had Egregious so I can't say.

I got a growler at about 3:30 on Sunday.Did it kick this weekend? Out of town last weekend, but I should be able to stop by next weekend.
It's a lot juicier/fruitier. Although I find it weird that you don't like Egregious, I've thought that was their best beer for quite a while.
Well it's not really hoppy since it's just dry-hopped. There's no bitterness, it's just the aroma. I thought it worked great.I am still working in a desire for hoppy sours. I am not the biggest fan of styles that aren't traditionally hoppy like Black IPA's or Belgian IPA's either. But, I am trying to give the style more of a shot.

Tried it once. Didn't think it was particularly interesting.Public Bottle Release

Ugh, just saw the 12 bottle limits. Why'd the make so much of something so unremarkable?
Huh? What did I miss? The next day bottles are unlimited with wax and $30 a pop
edit: my post was for Public Bottle Release
They're following The Bruery modelUgh, just saw the 12 bottle limits. Why'd the make so much of something so unremarkable?
Making that much or bottling that much? They could have done a series like:Ugh, just saw the 12 bottle limits. Why'd the make so much of something so unremarkable?
I would be happy with some FU variants for sure.Making that much or bottling that much? They could have done a series like:
FU-cherries, FU-apricots, etc (bruery model again)
But instead just a bunch of plain old FU.

Would it be the new Unlimited Juice?
I went on Saturday and they explicitly stated that it was in fact the FU base w/cherries. I wasn't too impressed with it, unfortunately. Tangerang though, wow that was good.I was thinking the same thing, both a mix of 3 Golden Sours...

Last few there have been, but with this limit...So question on this Public Bottle Release. Is there typically a big turnout? Big lines? Plane gets in a bit after noon and then heading out to Napa. Would love to grab a few bottles on the way!
I mean, I liked it on draft, but 12 bottles? Crazy. Why on earth did they bottle that much of it?I just don't see a lot of people spending $360 for a beer with no clear trade value and few rave reviews.

But unlimited juice is this w/cherries...so there was a plan to create some varients..may have thought about more?Because they brewed that much of it?
