Needs more cowbell.

Before my club built the burner they use to build a big bonfire under the kettle. Back then Firebrew was a two day event. Members would camp out and take shifts tending the fire all night long to get up to boil.

The cowbell looking things are actually converted from some dairy farm parts, don’t remember exactly what. But we get to mash temp before noon, and boil in an hour. We just bought a new chugger pump last year as our old one sprung a leak from the impeller seals.

Last firebrew I took up brewmaster for a doppelbock. That was one busy day! Worse than helping out with a commercial brew day! Other members wanting to chitchat while trying to keep the temperature constant, keeping the timer going, hop additions...

Sometime in May we’ll be brewing a RIS. I’m only planning on buying 5 gallons, but also participate in the second and third runnings from the tun. Third runnings should give an OG of about 1.050ish for a nice session beer.

Really cool that my club has a seven barrel system!

Shameless pandering to the elderly if that's even real.

My mil flip phone has got to be 10-15 years old. Still has the mindset to only turn it in to make a call. The rest of the time it's off. Save the battery in case you need to use it. Charges it maybe once a month if that. I think it's too the point the battery holds very little of a charge so it dies fast.

I'm like ok. Whatever, keep it off. My wife has tried to get her a new phone doesn't want to pay more than $28/month. Won't join our plan either. It's kind of like not having a phone.

I could save her $28/month with this. Just have her throw this in her purse. It would do the same thing. Has the same calling features too.

Wife and I were arguing over my use of my Milwaukee M12 Fuel on my grain mill. Whether it's suited for use on a Barley Crusher.

She got me some cheap $24 hammer drill at Walmart....

Let's see how long it lasts..... Been using the M12 for 9 months.

My MIL saw me with a box and pen and asked, "WTF are you doing?"

Was making this 2nd one just for youz guyz.... LoL

Guess how my wife does on The Price Is Right.... bless her heart.

She has no clue on how much was spent on that cord.

If it was any other household crap she'd be good to go.

What do you get when you cross old hammock bits, some lag bolts, and a mailbox post snapped off by snowplow-thrown super slushy snow?

Beer-thirty, that's what!

I see your bid and raise! Came home to a destroyed mailbox post. Too late to go to hardware store, so Redneck engineering it was!

I have a fond memory of listening to "One Bourbon..." by George with some family on a vacation long ago. I was in my teens and the first couple minutes of the song I was like "Cool, not a bad blues song.

After 8 minutes I was pretty tired of hearing "I looked at the bartender" and "One Bourbon, One Scotch, And One Beeyeeeeeeeeer." Alright, I guess not that fond.
