Gebhard Brewery, a pre-prohibition brewery in Morris, Illinois. Unfortunately, they were a casualty of prohibition.

Don't know anything about that building but generically I'm surprised anything that looks that fit hasn't been turned into condos these days...

Condos could be next. The surrounding neighborhood is all residential so all it needs is interior renovation and some parking.

Looks ripe - it's actually a lovely building from the angle provided. I could easily see it being condo'ed.
As for parking...there's a movement here in Greater Boston to diminish parking requirements in recognition of a future where not everyone in the city owns a "car". As someone living 30 miles "outtatown" I have the luxury of seeing how that works out

It had a few months on the clock but I enjoyed it anyway as a change from all the rum

The lights are starting to show up.

Back in 1986 I think the aurora borealis showed as far south as southern New Mexico, at the same time that Haley's Comet was passing through. I was coming home from work around 2 AM and got the celestial treat of a lifetime. One day I'll get to see the aurora again I hope.
