Then I saw a discussion of all the straight lines of the states, following latitudinal lines and the query: which US state is the only state without any straight lines?

HI
Hawaii. It's lines are formed by the contours of the islands. I lived there for years

I beg to differ:

....And it is very unlikely you would want my "better half" as a mother type parent. Trust me again on that, ...though I suppose if you were actually a bird, (or a cat paradoxicly) , posing as a human on this forum, you might have a chance, otherwise "It ad be a tough row to hoe", as they say.

I like crows, and have tolerated their growing presence around here for a few years. but it seems I've been too leniant with them.

I tried to 'splain then I did not want them going at my fruit trees and veg garden with warning shots from the Benjamin , but alas, if they are as much of a pain next growing season, I may have go to .22 cb caps. But I digress, as I often will from difficult conversations.

Coworker's husband got this as a gift, they don't drink so she regifted it to me. Unfortunately the only thing I have that will work in it is a 22oz bottle of my 2020 Holiday Ale that's been hiding in the back of the pantry for 4.5 years. In the fridge chilling now. Silly gizmo, I know, but might be fun. Only works with bottles and cans.
