Is it bad that I don't recognize any them?

I can understand not knowing any of the newmoney stouts in the center of the background, but surely you've seen bottles of Love Child before (I think that's what's on the left, at least). And the FW Reserve series box in the bottom right, but it's hard to tell what specific beer that is.

Certainly didn’t expect to be on a school bus with 30 TBers in Vermont when I signed up for this site.

Sure but no one cares about those beers.

Also I am on beer.

I saw one of Noah’s posts where he said he couldn’t buy an Assassin because his money was tied up in other deals like he’s some ******* VC.

I also sold him a few Bruery bottles I had sitting around for like $60 or something and he gave me $58 in cash and $2 in quarters.

I **** you not.

I am also on beer.

I'm honestly not sure which of these two anecdotes I'm enjoying more.

Best thing I've read today...

I would love to know how much debt some of these people have racked up buying beer. If people pay $650 for a beer has to mean you make other terrible financial decisions.

I am confused, did GreenFlash's investors foreclose on the company in order to restructure bad debt? I didn't read the whole article, but if it foreclosed, and solf to a new company that owns the old company and has the same board... That's sure what it sounds like.

The lender is the one to foreclose. Probably took out construction and equipment loans (likely all from the same lender) in connection with the new brewery in SD, the Cellar 3 space, and the east coast brewery. The loans probably had cross-default clauses (or they just defaulted on all of the loans).

This WC IPA LLC entity probably just got a lot of assets on the cheap.

Just my best guess without knowing specifics.

Oh ****! You really did grow up and become a lawyer.

Drank my first offshoot beer this weekend. “Relax, its just another hazy ipa.”

Im admittedly not a fan of the haze craze. But the nose on this pig was incredible and it was quite tasty....at least for the first 3-4 sips. As I got deeper into the can, I think I started to have an allergic reaction. My nose blocked up to the point where I couldnt breath through my nose and my throat started to physically hurt. Ive noticed the nose blockage thing before with certain beers but the throat hurting was a first.

What the **** are they putting in these?

Bunch of suspended yeast

Never tried the beer but that can design is one of my favorites.

**** you FedEx for the temporary exclamation proxy anxiety. Thankfully just intentional exceptions.

But that would have sucked.

Don't get me started on FedEx. I just had to threaten bodily harm to get them to correct an address on a shipment that the sender entered wrong.

"Look Debby, I know I am not the sender but if my package does not arrive I WILL RAIN DOWN LIKE HELL FIRE..."

It's one of my guilty pleasures for drain pour videos. "oh look at you drain pouring that $400 or whatever badl like a boss for likes underneath that $9 rusty and calcified moen on peeled up laminate counter tops with composite cabinets that are water warped and older than my mother."

call me elitist, judgey, i dont care. if you're spending big cash on beer before your own living arrangements, financial future, kids education, etc etc etc.... you're a fool.
Not everyone is in a position to buy a home and do work their kitchen regardless of their beer spending, but in general I agree with the sentiment.

Pretty good article about Russian River with a lot of stuff you probably already know. The last portion about the new Windsor spot and production was new and interesting to me. If you had asked me five years ago if they should triple capacity, I'd say "******* duh, they'll print money!" but nowadays, I'm not so sure. RR is certainly still going to have a wait on weekends, but it isn't much of a thing among any Bay Area beer geeks that I know. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for RR over the next few years.

I mean, part of the reason it's not a thing is that going there sucks so much. That's the whole joke behind "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded". They might be a little passe among the neckbeards, but I doubt it'll matter.

It was interesting to see the FB posts that the Friendship Blend didn't sell out in a day. I always wanted to try that beer...

They have definitely taken the conservative approach in regards to growth. I agree with Stupac2 that people stopped going because you always have to wait and there really is great beer all along the Bay Area now. But I still love RR and I am glad they are opening the new place.

With the added capacity, I'm hoping that they are able to distribute more in the Bay, because its kind of crazy that Pliny isn't more widely available in the Bay Area.

Stumbled upon a couple cases of KBS in literary BFE North Dakota tonight. I bought a 4 pack cause I was all excited to see it in BFE and haven't had it in several years.

Now, I'm sitting here and finishing off the first bottle and wondering if I can return the remaining 3. **** me. This is awful.
Give me FBS all day, errday.
