In San Diego for sure. Here I don't know who buys it. People got a little excited at first, and then a little excited for Grapefruit Sculpin...and that was it. Local hops and cheaper big craft like Lagunitas seem to carry the day.
When I was there back in 2016 I think the guy said that they had a 300 BBL brewhouse for just Sculpin running 24/7.

I’m not a brewer, but I think you must have misheard the size of the BBL brewhouse or their schedule, as a brewhouse that size running 24/7 could probably put out close to 1 million BBLs a year if not more, and they did ~375k BBLs in 2016 in total. At least as far as I understand it.

I'm not a brewer either but I am a dummy. Thinking back I think the main big ass copper one they had was 300 BBL. Maybe the sculpin was 30 barrels or something.

After some quick googling it looks like their San Diego facility has a 150BBL brewhouse, which makes sense given their capacity and production numbers. I’d bet a lions share of their volume is sculpin, or at least it was in 2016, so you were right about nonstop sculpin production, just needed to adjust the size of the brewhouse.

If any of you overweight jabronis will be at the Masters, a heads up:

Can I find Oberon enjoyable? Or is Oberon, like KBS, judged to be uncool and no good and oh so yesterday and it sits on shelves and goes on sale so it must suck?

I drank a fresh can of Oberon last night and enjoyed it more than 90% of the hazy IPAs I've had recently.

I wanna find one of those Oberon mini kegs but I’ve yet to figure out if they A) don’t send it to Austin or B) send like 12 of them to Austin.

Gawd send Michigan Beer you hate here.
