No deleted my Facebook in 2010 and got banned from BA in 2016. I’m just reading a local thread with very skeptical eyes

Trading history is a what would make you trust an opinion?

Skeptical eyes?

I think the point he's going for is sometimes it's hard to tell when that kind of enthusiasm is being offered earnestly (i.e. the beers are really that good, or even maybe they aren't but people are a bit over-excited to have something decent local to drink) and when it's being posted specifically to build hype/trade value.

I get it. It is just a dumb way to clarify.

Trading history? Really? No one would ever listen to thebandit1

I have no interest in trading and think the secondary market should burn in hell but like to say nice things about local breweries doing well. So... yeah.

I guess I interpreted Mugatu's post the opposite way: if someone had an extensive recent trade history and was constantly flipping bottles, it would be more likely they were hyping the new local place to get some new form of currency. Whereas someone who never trades and is all ZFG would be more likely to just be praising it because they enjoy the beer.

I'm among the biggest Off Color fans in the world. I'd say 75% of my alcohol intake since the beginning of summer 2016 has been Off Color beer. They're allowed a 'meh' beer every now and then.
One year later - I'd say that percentage is up around 85%. I buy warm and old Apex Predator even if I'm buying to drink right away over fresher cold options.

Warm/old Apex Predator is awesome.

You have made some beers that thoroughly disgust me and I don't hold it against you, do I? Well, I do, but I still drink your other beer.

I learned a valuable lesson today.

This makes me wonder....if a brewery with a smore Stout can make good beer, is it possible that the veil could make a good lambic?!?

Stuff sits around here...I've yet to try it, maybe I should pull the trigger?

Apex Predator gets a lot of love but I'm also partial to their Troublesome Gose and Yuzu Fierce, especially. I've joked that if I win the lottery I want a mainline of Yuzu Fierce sent straight to the house. That one is also plenty good if old. I still have a dusty bottle from the first bottled release somewhere.

So a good friend just released his first official beer bottle for sale. It's pretty awesome, feels like the whole thing was cloud talk a few years ago, now it's a reality that I can go get trashed at a brewery my friends own. Last night was a blur, I blame that cherry wine that tastes like schramms. Fredericksal or something.

Yuzu Fierce is the best beer in the world.

Don't @ me.
