Live Oak Pils is stupidly delicious. I can't think of a better traditionally made pils in America. I could take down can after can without regret

While I agree that Live Oak Pilz is a great Pilsener, I'll add two more to the list of best traditional Pils made in America:

Heater Alllen Pils
New Glarus Edel-Pils

I'm not sure I could pick among the three.

Because if you don't wait in line then you can't add the "I waited in line overnight" tax, and without that then you'll never be able to trade for the other milkshake IPA from across the country!

I've had a good amount of Live Oak Pils and think it's crazy solid, but I actually like Crux (OR), Chuckanut (WA) and Heater Allen (OR) just as much or even better.

Fun part is they can Gold now too which I like even more than Pils.

Live Oak 6 packs being at every grocery store and half the gas stations near me really has changed the way I buy beer. Im good passing on damn near everything else.

I know that some do "light" beers, but I can't think of any that make a non-alcoholic brew.

I know when I interviewed Mikkel last year he was talking about making a series of brews that were 0-1% abv, so somewhat close, not sure where that is now though.

Schmohz in MI makes an N.A called 120. My father, who gave up drinking 20 years ago requests I pick him some up on occasion. It isn't bad, kind of like a light pale ale, but basically alcohol free.

Right, they do make a non-alcoholic berliner weisse. It's not great. They also have a non-alcoholic pale ale but I haven't tried that one.

I had Heater Allen yesterday for the first time and it was ******* delicious. If I had more room in my box (heh), I'd have bought a few bottles to bring home.

HM Three Fates is still the best American pils I've had. Urban Chestnut Zwickel is a perfect American made lager. I wish I could drink either of these all the time. I need to try Live Oak Gold. That's all.
