My issues with GI here isn't specifically that they are brewing these Chopped basket beers, it's that they are brewing them instead of the proven variants they have done in the past. It's wasted opportunity.
Well sure, people who are complaining just won't buy it (well, I hope), but it's a loss because the lineup RedCoffee posted would mean more good beer in our lives, compared to this lineup of crap. It's sad compared to what could be.
Can't remember who made it or what style it was, but a brewery in Oregon made a beer with black garlic. We'll probably see the beer that you envisioned next year.So which will be the first to make a garlic aoli stout?

A little more info and background on the BCBS lineup. Prop & Northwoods sound weird to me but who knows. The lack of whole ingredients for the national variant is a shame again. I wonder if the Knob Creek Reserve will be bottled or only on draft since the label is for a keg. While it doesn't all sound great, I'm going to be hardpressed not to go out and try to get some coffee and reserve barleywine. Regular also sounds interesting since it is all Heaven Hill barrels and fresh.
Seems like it will be bottled too.I wonder if the Knob Creek Reserve will be bottled or only on draft since the label is for a keg.
I kind of dig the idea of Northwoods BCS.
And RedCoffee, the BCS variants have been 'cocktails' for awhile now. They don't want to stuff coffee, fruit, peppers, etc into barrels at the rate it takes to mass produce that stuff. Efficiency won out.
there can be only one banana bombChicago tickers are still going to hype up the "banana bomb" and stand outside for 10+ hours
You based the value off razzles and factored in drive time, wait in-line time, and heat factor right?Got my first approved FedEx claim for a damaged and tossed out box. Feelsgoodman.jpg
I got that same email. Strange. This is strange. I was got an email from Cigar City saying I won a spot in El Catador Club (don't ever remember entering) and to submit payment no later than 2pm EST June 12, 2017. You know, yesterday.

Must have been some expensive gourmet hot sauces.
It redirects me to a domain ending in .ru and asks for my social security number and bank information. Seems legit!
Artisan Vinegar and Gourmet Olive Oil
Sir what's in the box you are shipping today?
"Gourmet olive oil"
Like, you make your own olive oil?
"Yeah, got me four acres of backyard with three rows of olive trees, a part time farm hand who helps during the harvests, an industrial cold press, and some storage and bottling equipment. It's a hobby...."
That sounds awesome, think you can hook me up with a few bottles?
"Funny you ask, i'm actually selling the property soon, and this is some of the last of my stock. I'm shipping it to some family, east"
Oh well that's too bad. I'll take care of this box for you. Have a good day sir
"Thanks"
