A little more info and background on the BCBS lineup. Prop & Northwoods sound weird to me but who knows. The lack of whole ingredients for the national variant is a shame again. I wonder if the Knob Creek Reserve will be bottled or only on draft since the label is for a keg. While it doesn't all sound great, I'm going to be hardpressed not to go out and try to get some coffee and reserve barleywine. Regular also sounds interesting since it is all Heaven Hill barrels and fresh.

I'm sure we'll be in for another round of neocicerones offering up their "knowledge" about how flash pasteurization means the beer is no longer suitable for aging.

Seems like it will be bottled too.

I can see many takes on the BCBS variants.

On one hand it's nice that the brewers at GI are allowed creative freedom to make the versions of BCBS they want. Especially when they know they can make the same 4 or 5 types a year and not worry about selling product.

OR

THIS IS JUST AB-InBev SLOWLY TURNING BCBS INTO BUD LIGHT LIME-A-RITA!!!!!!!

I kind of dig the idea of Northwoods BCS.

And RedCoffee, the BCS variants have been 'cocktails' for awhile now. They don't want to stuff coffee, fruit, peppers, etc into barrels at the rate it takes to mass produce that stuff. Efficiency won out.

"I really love the efficiency notes in this batch!" ;)

Coffee I can see because the base ingredient contains a lot of flavors that would be considered "off" in both coffee and beer. If they get a better product by extracting out the best/most desired coffee flavors via typical coffee brewing methods and then adding it to the final beer, gravy.

The rest I'm disinclined to give them a pass on. ****'s hard to do? Takes time? Damn that sucks. If only y'all had the backing of a global beer superpower to source the manpower needed to OH WAIT.

Hey, end of the day, Goose can do Goose. They'll make money hand over fist with this stuff and good on 'em for it! If they can cut all of these corners and maximize profits, I hope they're successful in doing so. I just think it's kind of sad to see the original fears people had for AB Inbev ownership of Goose come to life a little bit at a time.

Artisan Vinegar and Gourmet Olive Oil

Sir what's in the box you are shipping today?

"Gourmet olive oil"

Like, you make your own olive oil?

"Yeah, got me four acres of backyard with three rows of olive trees, a part time farm hand who helps during the harvests, an industrial cold press, and some storage and bottling equipment. It's a hobby...."

That sounds awesome, think you can hook me up with a few bottles?

"Funny you ask, i'm actually selling the property soon, and this is some of the last of my stock. I'm shipping it to some family, east"

Oh well that's too bad. I'll take care of this box for you. Have a good day sir

"Thanks"

Leaves store

*dammit, my cover is blown, i need to find another fedex store, again*

Click N Ship + work mailroom = "Hey dude! What's in the box, more beer?" "Yep!"

You sure it's being shipped? The description says "Deadline to pick up is June 19th at 7pm or it goes back out for sale"

I saw a bunch of people on Instagram asking if they ship to their state and they were responding as if they were shipping so I just assumed they were. Could be wrong.
