I don't understand the aggressiveness in this response. Did you write the article or something? What about it was interesting to you? As I said, it just seemed to be some guy complaining prices are too high with nothing else. I mean, he quotes a RateBeer ticker as it that person has some sort of expertise in anything.
**** you, ********.

So . . . when Sierra Nevada was planning their Asheville brewery they were thinking about how much it would benefit other craft breweries?

I'll play along. I have no way of knowing if they were thinking that or not. However, they probably WERE thinking things like:

- We're at maximum capacity in Chico
- We could reduce shipping costs by opening up a brewery on the East Coast
- We could reduce our carbon footprint by being closer to our accounts on the East Coast
- We can get fresher beer to our East Coast accounts

Comparing SN to AB-InBev is ******* stuuuupid. Unless I missed it, I don't see SN buying up distributorships whenever allowed (or forcing them to sign exclusives), lobbying to change state laws in their benefit, or having a reputation since the middle of the 20th century as using pay-to-play tactics for handles and shelf space.

Hot Take Artist seems- like many do, frankly- to miss the point as to what makes AB-InBev shady: it's not their desire to make money as a corporation, it's how they go about it.

So you don't think that breweries like SN and Boston Beer get preferential treatment by distributors which influence what's on tap at the bar or on the shelves at the store? You're daft. Do you understand why the 3-tier system exists?

The point is that competition is competition. No matter who owns them.

1. Read my ******* post again and then tell me when SN did any of the things I mentioned. This isn't about preferential treatment.
2. Why the **** are you bringing up Boston Beer? This is about you saying stupid **** about SN. Don't change the ******* subject.
3. What the **** is that last question supposed to mean? At what point in my post did I give any indication that I don't understand the concept of 3-tier? Was it my comments about AB-InBev and distributors? Because that **** is real. Other than that, nothing in this is about 3-tier.
4. Who the **** says "daft?"

U upset, brah?

Nobody said, "SN does things exactly like AB does". What was said is that they are just as, if not more, competitive.

Every new money **** boi on Wicked Weed this week:
<post 462> artsy picture of a drain poured WW bottle with a sellout caption</post>

<post 463>ISO VR</post>

Yup, just said basically the same thing in the WW thread. I've seen more than a few people trashing Wicked Weed in general interest/local/regional groups who are frequently in trade, raffle, or sale groups looking for VR and Prop 14.

Is anyone other than odd13 brewing a widely easily available non brewery only hazy IPA thats good?

Let's not get too crazy with the "widely easily available" talk. I see empty slots more often than not. Granted that's a good thing for them.

I see it everywhere in Boulder County at Least.

To say nothing of the fact that however wide their footprint is in Colorado, distributing to only one state isn't easily available for the vast majority of beer drinkers.

Yes, but most of these types of beers are getting gobbled up at breweries and on specific days and stuff.

I can stop and grab superfan on my way home from work daily.

Fair enough. Compared to brewery-only cans you need to wait in line for, Odd13 is widely and easily available. I guess I would just default to using that kind of phrase to describe beer from breweries like Sierra Nevada and New Belgium, where damn near anybody in the country can buy their products at whatever sort of establishment state law permits beer to be sold.

I should have clarified better.

You want some? I feel like I owe you

The Chicago brewed Born Yesterday was hazy. The Petaluma batches were clear.
